Meet the Founder

I'm Karen Heydenrych, the founder of Communikay and a PR and communications strategist with more than 20 years' experience working with technology companies, aviation organisations and conservation bodies.
I've worked both in-house and agency-side, leading communications across software, AI, cloud, data and digital transformation. I've also worked closely with entrepreneurs bringing new products to market, which means I understand what it's like on both sides.
I work hands-on with every client, supporting founders, leaders and subject-matter experts with PR, thought leadership and personal brand building on LinkedIn. When you work with Communikay, you work with me.
Outside of work, you'll find me volunteering my communications skills to the Spitfire Restoration Project at the South African Air Force Museum — because aviation isn't just a passion, it's part of who I am.
